Nothing prepares you for how loud and colourful this carnival is — we booked our hotel 8 months ahead and it still wasn't cheap.

Grabbed a table right by the harbour for dinner tonight.

Booked our cable car tickets exactly 3 weeks in advance and got a great morning slot — the views above the clouds are something else.

🏖️Los Cristianos6 lip 2026

Took the kids here and it was so calm, barely any waves at all — perfect first beach day for a 4-year-old.

Opinie

Easy booking and a fixed fare from TFS to Costa Adeje — no haggling, no surprises. The driver was friendly and the car was spotless. Slightly pricier than the bus, but worth it for late-night arrivals.

La Papaya

Lovely spot in Adeje with a relaxed garden feel. The seafood paella was generous and well-seasoned, and the staff were warm and attentive. Slightly touristy menu but done really well.

A beautiful rural retreat in the hills of Vilaflor — the quietest place I've stayed on the island. Organic food, mountain air and starlit nights. Perfect for disconnecting completely.

Park Narodowy Teide

Standing at 3718m watching the sun rise over the Canary Islands is an experience I will never forget. Book the cable car online well ahead and bring a jacket even in summer — it is cold up there. Absolute bucket-list.

Las Teresitas

Golden Saharan sand that stays cool even in the sun — a photographer's dream with the mountains behind. The beach is huge, so finding a quiet spot is easy. Grab fresh fruit from the stalls and stay for the golden hour.

Playa de Benijo

Raw, wild and unforgettable. Black volcanic sand under towering cliffs, with surfers dotted in the water. The sunset here genuinely made me emotional — one of the most beautiful places on the island.

Wioska Masca

The drive down the gorge is dramatic and the village clings to the cliff like something from a storybook. The hike through the gorge itself is demanding but the views are extraordinary. Bring proper shoes and water.

Spectacular architecture and a great vibe. The rooms are stylish and the rooftop bar has amazing sunset views. It's loud at weekends, but if you're here to party, it's perfect.

Los Cristianos

Sheltered, calm and spotless. I spent three afternoons here with a book and a cold mojito from a beach shack. The sand gets busy near the pier, but walk ten minutes along the water and you get space to yourself.

Park Wiejski Anaga

Mossy ancient forests and misty peaks — Anaga feels prehistoric in the best way. The trails from Cruz del Carmen are well-marked and the viewpoints over the coastline are stunning. A must for nature lovers.
