Hidden beaches and secret spots locals love?
Visited Tenerife three times already and know the main beaches well. Looking for hidden gems that most tourists miss — natural pools, secret coves, wild beaches. Any suggestions?

Playa de Güímar on the east coast is largely unknown to tourists despite being beautiful. Black sand, good snorkeling on the rocks, and almost nobody there on weekdays. There is a bar in the village above that does excellent food.
The natural pools at Garachico on the north-west coast are spectacular — formed by lava flows and filled by the sea. The town itself is one of the most beautiful in Tenerife. Go early morning when the pools are quietest.
Playa de Los Patos near Buenavista del Norte in the far north-west is truly wild — difficult to reach but stunning. Black volcanic rock, powerful waves and almost always deserted.
Charco del Viento near La Guancha is a natural rock pool filled by the sea that very few tourists visit. The surrounding coastline is dramatic and the water is clear. Best visited at mid-to-high tide.
