About this beach
An artificial beach near Santa Cruz de Tenerife with golden Saharan sand imported from the Sahara Desert and imported directly against a dramatic wall of the Anaga mountains. Calm protected waters make it perfect for families, and the long shallow bay means you can wade far out safely. Free parking, palm-tree shade and beach cafés make it the easy choice for a day in the north; on calm days the water is almost lake-like and wonderfully warm for a city beach.
