From either airport, a taxi rank sits right outside arrivals, TITSA's public bus network reaches every major town, and private or shared transfers can be pre-booked for door-to-door convenience. Once on the island, a rental car gives the most freedom — Tenerife's roads are well maintained and its motorway network (TF-1, TF-5) covers the coasts, though mountain roads to villages like Masca are narrow and winding.
