Family-friendly vs adults-only resorts — recommendations?
Going with a family group that includes two couples without kids and one family with children aged 6 and 10. Can anyone recommend resorts that work well for both? Or should we split our bookings?

Most 4–5 star resort hotels in Costa Adeje have both family wings and quieter adult pool areas. Iberostar and H10 both do this well — you can stay in the same complex but have different pool areas.
The Bahía del Duque resort in Costa Adeje has multiple pools including quieter garden areas that tend to attract adults, while families gravitate towards the main entertainment pool. It is pricey but works well for mixed groups.
Another option is to book two separate but nearby properties — a family hotel and an adults-only hotel within walking distance of each other. You then have flexibility to meet for meals while having the right atmosphere for each group.
