Bono Vía — TITSA Discount Travel Card
The Bono Vía is a rechargeable stored-value card that cuts TITSA bus fares significantly compared to paying the driver in cash — often by 30–50% depending on route and card type — and is worth buying if you plan more than a couple of bus journeys during your stay. Cards are sold and topped up at TITSA kiosks, some tobacconists (estancos) and newsagents in larger towns; tap it on the reader when boarding and it deducts the discounted fare automatically. A small refundable deposit applies to the card itself.
