One of the most popular beaches in Tenerife, known for its golden sand and lively atmosphere. The wide, gently shelving shore stretches from Playa de Troya to the harbour, with lifeguards, sunbed rentals and a long seafront promenade lined with restaurants and bars. Surf schools operate all year round and the waves are kind to beginners, while the shallow edges make it a fun spot for families too. Go early in the morning for a quieter swim or stay for the sunset when the promenade comes alive with street performers.

Sign inBusy but buzzing — exactly what you want if you like the action. Golden sand, plenty of chiringuitos, and the waves pick up enough for a fun bodyboard session. Parking fills up fast by 10am, so come early or walk from Playa de la Pinta.
TOTom FieldsŻywa plaża, mnóstwo leżaków i barów tuż przy brzegu. Woda chłodna, ale czysta. Dla nas idealna baza na cały dzień — dzieci bawiły się w piasku, a my odpoczywaliśmy z widokiem na zatokę. Tłoczno, więc lepiej przyjść przed 11.

Piasek tu jest ciemny (wulkaniczny), ale plaża świetnie zorganizowana — parking znalazłam bez problemu wcześnie rano.
🏖️Playa de las Américas →Spent the whole afternoon here and the surf was surprisingly good for beginners. So many beach bars right along the promenade if you need a break.
